Lenten greetings to you! On Wednesday we began the penitential season of Lent. As we begin this Lenten season, we’d like to invite you to join us as the seventh and eighth grade students lead the Stations of the Cross on Thursdays at noon.On Tuesday, Monsignor Gorman came to school and all students were able to take part in the burning of the palms that were used at the Ash Wednesday Masses.Since Lent is a time to give of our time, talents, and treasures, the fifth-eighth grades gave time on Ash Wednesday to make fleece tie-blankets that will be donated to a local emergency service organization. This was a great service project to be a part of and we are thankful for the help of the parents who were able to join us that afternoon. Please make plans to join us next Sunday for the Pancake Breakfast. Food will be served from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. Stay after breakfast for the Tilden Lions Sheepshead/Euchre tournament which begins at 1:00 PM.We wish you all a blessed Lenten season.Reminder: No School Friday, March 11, due to Diocesan Inservice for teachers.
